The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.
The hallway that led to our room was dim and it was hard to see how to get the key into the door lock.

The all of the hotel appeared to be very clean. The public areas of the ship had attractive displays of former areas of the ship. We were there late in the evening and spent the better part of two hours wandering the corridors and exploring the ship. Our beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. All staff members were courteous and helpful. I can't wait to visit again. ...read more

Great experience and a historical journey.
Older small rooms with a smell but it is a 1930s Cruise Ship, oh and its haunted.

The Queen Mary is an experience all to itself with a historical journey to the 1930s and ghost tours day and night all to make it more then just a hotel, but a museum where you spend the night. You can't compare it to a hotel or resort because it is a 1930s cruise ship and that should set your expectations. The standard staterooms are small but that is what you should expect on a ship. Great experience and great for the kids. ...read more

I stayed in the Royal Suite on the Queen Mary.
A long way away from my meeting place.

The Queen Mary is a priceless artifact for those who have a love of history.

The historical nature of the hotel was awesome.
Thin walls and could hear everything in room next door.

I liked the old decor and the historical aspect of the hotel/ship.
The restaurant was a little pricey for lunch, but the food was good.

I enjoyed my stay at the Queen Mary and would stay there again. Clerk was very helpful and pleasant.

History and elegance.
Old plumbing.

Steeped in history. The hotel was really fun. One of our cabins was truly luxurious and beautifully restored, but bath plumbing was not working well. The other cabin was a lower class or not fully restored, but very comfortable and also had bath plumbing issues. Notwithstanding the bathing issues, we would stay there again in a heartbeat. The ship tours were really excellent but we would skip the ghosts tour next time. ...read more

Great nostalgic visit. Interesting to tour.
No heat on a 60 degree night. Only cold air.

Parking arrangements were very strange, kept moving and blocking various areas. Good check-in staff, room was large but cold, great view of long beach and breakfast was buffet only slightly warm, many shops closed, those that were open had interesting things from the past. Overall an interesting one night stay. ...read more
